The Learner Placement Tool is designed to allocate learners to their new classes at the end of a year. It asks the user to prioritise a number of factors, such as gender, wellbeing and achievement, and then uses an algorithm to create the most balanced possible class based on the selection criteria.  The details of each class are automatically summarised and can be shared with teachers, or form part of a mail merge for parent communication:
